Dear Travellers, Welcome and thanks for your attention to our hotel. I think I should tell you st about our hotel for your
imagination.
The building is divided into 02 parts, linked by a small oriental style garden w/ stone bridge and waterfall, the 1st w/ 4 storeys (1 is under the road level) and the 2nd w/ 9 storeys. The Ancient Vietnamese Architect is imitated in decorated details (ex: wooden piles and tiled roofs) The ground floor is for bicycle and motorbike parking. Going up on 7 steps to the 1st floor, then pass the stone bridge over the pond and flowers to the reception desk, tour booking office and waiting area where you can see petty garden. The open air garden between 2 part. In there a water fall high 9 m falling to the pond. The dining area and internet room are on 2nd floor. These are all open so people can enjoy fresh air and the beauty of the garden. The family area will be on all the 3rd floors with living room also spirit space on the 1st part. It’s look like a traditional house with a wooden piles and a tiled roof – old architecture kind in Hanoi old quarter streets and also limit high the front of the house, it’s 12 m. From the 4th to 8th floors there are 10 double/or twin rooms (2 double room / floor) for travelers. All rooms are equipped w/AC, inside bathroom, international channel TV, international telephone, mini bar and special online internet gate for business man. (Free using internet and have breakfast for the customs staying here) The lift and the staircase for exit are in the centre of the building w/ around windows for natural light to all entry door rooms. And from the Queen Café on the 9th floor, you can have an interesting view to Hoan Kiem Lake as well as Red River. Is it pleasant to have a cup of tea there while seeing thousands of stars twinkling in the far dark sky in some Summer nights? Some Barbecue promise a really relax time for people too. As you know, Queen Travel Building is located on Hang Bac str., i.e. the centre of the Hanoi Old Quarter that is famous for its old house w/ tiled roof, but today there left only a few. The image of the Hanoi’s 36 Streets is being lost. With the idea for new Queen Travel house is a harmony combination between the modern and the traditional architecture, I hope that I can not only do st for the old street, but also can help travellers in their imagination on a Vietnam Traditional Architecture. Architect Dang Duc Thuc
