DAY 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh city around noon. Transfer to Hotel in Saigon. Afternoon free. Overnight in Orient at 274-276 De Tham St- Pham Ngu Lao Ward District 1 HCM city DAY 2: Morning tour of city to see: · Notre Dame Cathedral · Reunification Palace · Emperor Jade Pagoda · War Remnants Museum · China Town · Thien Hau Pagoda, General Post Office and City hall (old French colonial buildings). Night in Ho Chi Minh City in Orient at 274-276 De Tham St- Pham Ngu LaoWard District 1 (Lunch at Hai Lua Restaurant, Dinner at Ngon Restaurant) DAY 3 : Travellers have a choice here. Travellers have a free day in Saigon or go on a day trip to Bao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels (old Viet Cong stronghold). Night in Ho Chi Minh City in Orient at 274-276 De Tham St- Pham Ngu Lao Ward District 1 DAY 4 : After breakfast, coach to My Tho via Tan An Town. Stop to see the rice husking mills. Arrive in My Tho and take boat cruise on the upper Mekong to see floating fish and fruit markets and the Qui Islet fruit garden about 4 hours. Lunch at Trung Luong restaurant on the way and then bus transfer to Can Tho via Vinh Long. Overnight in Can Tho at Phuong Dong hotel 62, 30/4 Street Can Tho city. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 5 : Morning boat trip to visit the Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets. Lunch and then visit the Thot Not bird sanctuary. On to Chau Doc early afternoon for overnight stay at Nui Sam hotel. Afternoon trip to Sam mountain and the caved pagoda. Observe Cambodian border.(L,D) lunch will be served in Can Tho city, dinner served ay Bay Bong restarant in Chau Doc town. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 6 : Morning boat trip to visit the floating fishing farm and the Cham weaving village. At 9.30am catch the fast boat for trip up the Mekong River to Phnom Penh. Arrive early afternoon and check in. Free time for rest of day. Overnight at ASIA hotel DAY 7 : Phnom Penh city tour. Visit the national Museum of Khmer Arts, the Silver pagoda in the Royal Palace Gardens, the Wat Phnom in the River Front Park. After lunch, visit the Killing Fields and museum. Overnight Phnom Penh at ASIA hotel. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 8 : Morning hydrofoil ride to Siem Riep. Rest of fay free. Overnight in Siem Riep. See the sunset over the Angkor Wat complex. Lunch will be served on the way, overnight and dinner at NONOREACH ANGKOR hotel. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 9 : Tour of Angkor Wat complex and surrounds. Includes Prasat Ravan, Benteay De, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say, Tevoda, plus the temple city.Overnight at NONOREACH ANGKOR hotel. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 10 : After viewing sunrise at Angkor Wat, enjoy a morning tour of South gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan, Baksai Chamkrong and the South gate of Angkor Thom. Transfer to airport. Flight to Da Nang via Ho Chi Minh City, arriving 6.10pm. One hour coach transfer to Hoi An where we will spend the next two nights. Overnight at Phuoc An hotel. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 11 : Free day to shop until in Hoi An. Overnight at Phuoc An hotel DAY 12 : Coach travel to Hue via Cham Museum, Marble Mountain and Lang Co Beach. Afternoon arrival at Hue to visit the Citadel. Those old enough to remember the Tet Offensive in 1968 will remember the fighting that occurred in and around this citadel, on this night if you are interesting in Hue traditional music on boat following by Perfume river please pay extra. Next 2 nights in Hue.Overnight at Huong Vy hotel. (Lunch & Dinner included) DAY 13 : Free day in Hue. Optional day tour to Khe Sanh and the DMZ.Overnight at Huong Vy hotel. DAY 14 : Morning boat trip up the Perfumed River to Thien Mu Pagoda and the Minh Mang Tomb (the tomb complex of the old emperors). Afternoon flight to Hanoi. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Hanoi, overnight at Queen Travel hotel. (Lunch included) DAY 15 : Morning departure via coach for Ha Long Bay. Take boat to tour Ha Long Bay and cave. Walk to Viet Hai village (3km) Morning swim and then back to hotel and lunch.
