1. What are the differences between the big group Cafes tour and the small group Queen Travel tour?

The big group: 30 – 45 pax and economy services in other Cafes.  But the small group in Queen Travel only  max 12 pax and high quality services.

2. How many travelers are there in 1 group of Queen Travel?

Normally, 6 to 10 travelers in small group.

3. What kind of vehicles do you use for road trips?

We use modern, clean, well maintained, professionally driven coaches. Coaches are usually over sized for the group as the extra room can be more comfortable.

Mini bus (24 seat ):       10 – 16 passengers

Mini van (16 seat ):        03 – 10 passengers

Car         (04 seat ):        01 or 02 passengers

They’re all Japanese or Korean late model vehicles except for the 4WDs mentioned in the mountain is Russian army

4. What kind of boats do you use on the trips?

On the trip to Ha Long Bay, you’ll be set on a big boat that holds up to 40 passengers (but only 15 of you at most). There are sleeping cabin aboard with mosquito nets, pillows, blankets, sheets. Not as comfy as your hotel in Hanoi but at least, they’re all clean.

On the trip in Hue and Mekong Delta, every 4 of o will take a small motor boat. No worries, there’s still enough space for you to take a lunch nap.

On the trip to Perfume pagoda and Tam Coc you’ll be specially taken on an quiet oar boat.

5. Which meals are included in the tour rate?

Generally full breakfasts are included. Most guests like to have some freedom to wander for their own tastes whenever it is possible. So we plan the meals on the way or at the stops that guests don’t have much time and choices accordingly, and leave all meals ‘open’ with full recommendations.

6. If the meals are included, can I avoid foods I dislike?

We try to take very special care of our guests and try to make a point of discovering any string dislike s when you are booking. We’re taking you “hame” to Vietnam, and want you to enjoy it!

7. What is single supplement?

The price is based on twin shared accommodation. Single supplement is the extra cost applied for those who want private rooms on the trip.

8. Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

Normally, yes, however it’s best to ask about your specific case. Generally, we have been able to accommodate, and always ask before finalizing your booking.

9. Can I choose the hotels myself?

We’re afraid not. Rather than change hotels for each day’s adventures, accommodations are chosen not only for their luxury or charm, but also for their locations. That allows us to come “hame” each evening.

Less packing and unpacking means less stress (you are on vacation for heavens sake) and more exploring!

All hotels are subject to change. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of the same or similar category.

10. Do I have sleepers on the train trips?

Yes, you’ll have soft sleepers on the night train Hanoi – Lao Cai but there’s no sleepers on the day time train.

11. How is the domestic flight like?

Domestic flights on the vacations are booked with Vietnam airlines at Economy class within Vietnam only.

12. Do your drivers speak some English?

All drivers in Vietnam speak very little English. But they are experienced enough to help you on the way.

13. Must I book through you, or can I use my Travel Agent?

We have had guests ranging in age from over twenty to over sixty. Romance and adventure have no limits! However, the trips are to be tailor made to suit your children. (We charge 50% for 4 – 8 years old, 100% from 9 up)

14. Do I need to bring formal evening wear?

No, you don’t. Ladies may wish to bring smart evening casual wear and the gentlemen a sport coat or blazer, that’s it,

15. Baggage

On the transpacific flights, baggage allowance is two pieces of checked baggage with combined overall dimension not exceeding 106 inches and no single piece may exceed 62 inches.

All baggage and passenger belongings are the owners’ risk throughout the tour.

16. Tips and Taxes

Except for airport departure taxes and customs user fee, all taxes at the hotels are included.

However, tips of a personal nature have not been included.

17. Travel insurance.

No, it is not. We highly recommend you to purchase travel insurance including Health and Accident Insurance.

18. Does the price include the drinks?

No, it doesn’t. (You pay for your drinks)

19. Why is the price cheaper at some other cafes?

The group is over – sized (50 – 60 persons)

Old bus, old boat - Poor services - No safety.
