Vietnam is a large country, running
nearly 2,000 kilometers north to south. Not surprisingly, weather varies widely by region.
In the south, there are essentially two seasons, dry and wet. The dry season runs from
November through April; the wet season from May through October. Dry or wet, it's always
hot and humid!
Average temperatures are much cooler up
north. Hanoi experiences 4 seasons. Winter is dry and cool, even downright chilly;
although, it never gets cold enough to snow. Tet - New Year marks the beginning of Spring,
with warm temperatures and little rain. Both Summer and Autumn are hot and rainy.
